Home Renovation Savings Program
Ontario homeowners can get rebates for energy-efficient appliances, insulation, heat pumps, smart thermostats, solar panels and more. The more upgrades, the more savings.
Don’t let the words “Home Renovation” throw you off—it can mean one-offs like upgrading a single appliance or adding a smart thermostat, or it can mean you’re undertaking a major home upgrade.

Peak Perks Program
Do you have a Smart Thermostat (or are planning to install one)? It can earn you money.
By registering your Smart Thermostat with the program, you will receive $75 upfront, and $20 every year after that you stay enrolled.
The Peak Perks program pays homeowners for the ability to minimally adjust temperature settings to reduce energy during high demand times.

Energy Affordability Program
The Energy Affordability Program provides no-cost, energy-efficient upgrades for income-eligible households. These upgrades can help reduce monthly electricity use and lower energy bills.
Homeowners, renters, and leasers may be eligible, including residents of participating social housing properties. Households with income per person ranging from $18.2K (7-person household) to $48.2K (1-person household) may qualify for Comprehensive support. If your income is above this range, you may still be eligible for an Energy Savings Kit.
