Save on Energy – Business

Lakeland Power is proud to partner with Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator to promote Save on Energy programs to our customers. At home and at work, these programs will help you save energy, reduce costs and support a more reliable electricity system.

Small Business Program

No-cost upgrades for your business? That’s good! Those upgrades installed for you? That’s better. Realizing on-going energy savings that lower your utility bill? Now that’s the best!

Small Businesses with less than 50 employees could qualify for free equipment and lighting upgrades through the Save on Energy Small Business Program. This includes up to $3,000 of energy-efficient lighting, and up to $2,500 for non-lighting equipment such as refrigeration components and smart thermostats.

Even if you’ve participated in the past, you could still be eligible.

Peak Perks Program

Smart thermostats can be even smarter by earning extra money for your Small Business (less than 50 employees).

Get $75 when you opt in to automated adjustments of your smart thermostat when electricity demand is high on summer weekdays. Every year you stay enrolled earns another $20.

Instant Discounts Program

Purchase energy saving lighting and receive an automatic discount at the cash. Discounts range up to a maximum of $80 per item.

This program applies to specific lighting products sold at participating retailers in your area.

Retrofit Program

Get up to 50% of your eligible costs covered for energy-efficiency upgrades.

Equipment upgrades, from lighting to chillers to greenhouse controls, could be eligible to receive up to 50% of project costs if they achieve measurable and persistent reductions in energy use.

Expanded Energy Management Program

Increase efficiency and profitability in your commercial, institutional and industrial facilities.

The Expanded Energy Management program is tailored to your organization’s needs. From coaching and training to financial support for hiring an energy manager, to installing an Energy Management information system at industrial facilities, this program helps save energy and achieve sustainability goals.

XLerate Program

Planning a large-scale project? Explore a simplified approach to pay-for-performance incentives that could earn you up to $15 million.

The XLerate program is a streamlined program that provides organizations across Ontario in industrial, municipal, institutional, and healthcare sectors (non-residential) with a simplified approach to undertaking large-scale energy efficiency projects.
