Lofthouse Manufacturing in Burks Falls recently completed a lighting upgrade. It took some time to find and test the right LED lights, but the results are worth it, with brighter work areas. In addition, they took part in the Save on Energy Retrofit Program through Lakeland Power, and received an incentive of $3,300 towards their project costs. The new lighting is expected to save almost 32,000 kWh annually. That’s roughly equivalent to the energy used by 3 average Ontario homes.
