Bracebridge took a direct hit with potentially a few micro bursts which has affected Lakeland Power’s electrical distribution system. Crews have observed a lot of devastation including roofs off homes. We currently have 31 individual outage events affecting hundreds of customers mainly from downed trees.
All available staff have been deployed.
We ask that the public please keep a safe distance from debris fields and fallen trees as safety is always our number one priority.
We are calling in external crews to assist at this time.
