Things are looking brighter. More than 200 streetlights in various locations within Bracebridge have been upgraded to LED. The project was the final phase of the Streetlight Upgrade project that the Town began in 2015. The new LED lighting lasts longer, saves energy, and was eligible for the Save on Energy Retrofit program incentives, offered through Lakeland Power. The 220 LED lights in this project are estimated to save over 100,000 kWh annually.
