Fell Homes in Burks Falls applied to the Save on Energy Retrofit Program through Lakeland Power and received their incentive this week. The project successfully upgraded the interior lighting in all 29 units to LED lights, using 1/3 of the power of the originals. This upgrade is predicted to reduce Fell Homes’ annual consumption by over 30,000 kWh. To compare, the average home in Ontario consumes close to 10,000 kWh of energy per year.
